Poolside Business Brokers exists because the pool route brokerage industry needed something different. After years of operating in the pool service industry — buying, selling, and managing over 1,500 accounts — we saw the gap between what traditional brokers offered and what pool route owners actually needed.
Traditional brokers apply generic business valuations to pool routes. They don't understand why a 60-account route in a tight geographic cluster can be worth more than a 100-account route spread across three counties. They don't know why autopay penetration matters, or how seasonal service mix affects buyer interest, or what a realistic customer retention rate looks like during a transition.
We built Poolside Business Brokers to bring that operator-level understanding to the brokerage process. We've hired technicians, managed chemical costs, dealt with equipment failures, handled customer cancellations, and navigated the complexities of route acquisitions. That experience informs everything we do — from how we value routes to how we prepare them for sale to how we support the transition after closing.
